Philadelphia Area Schools Top 100 List

We had told you earlier this week how PAHS ranked 29th among schools in Southeast PA for SAT scores in 2011.

 

‘Tis the season for school rankings, and today Philadelphia Magazine released their Top 100 Philadelphia-Area Public Schools List.  Phoenixville came in at #31.  The rest of the stats are as follows:

 

913 students

85% go on to college

515/535/511 average SAT scores (critical reading/math/writing)

82/70 PSSA (reading/math) – percentage of students graded proficient or above in the state standardized PSSA tests

12:1 Student/Faculty Ratio

$12,347 per capita  instructional spending
